We are working closely with Marco on his first two years in MotoGP, and it is clear that he was a true racer, something he proved again and again this season. He fought to the end and a showman. It was a fatal incident, and everyone in the paddock was still in shock. Sometimes we ourselves forget how dangerous this sport, and when you lose, then it means nothing. It is clear, that we all do what we like, what we love, but on days like today, no one can say. "

- Andrea Dovizioso, MotoGP Honda rider

"In this situation, words do not seem appropriate. I think Marco's family and all who love him, especially his father and mother. I also have children, and what is happening today is the most difficult situation you can imagine. I see images and was shocked: when the race you fight and push hard, and disasters often appear around the bend. Marco is a strong rider and he's always pushing hard. We raced together since childhood, I see it is always pushing to the maximum, he often falls, but without major injury, he seemed invincible. What happened today this seems unlikely. "
