BARCELONA - Dani Pedrosa has certainly miss the British MotoGP. But the Repsol Honda team this affirm that they will not seek a replacement rider Pedrosa at Silverstone.
Pedrosa canceled show in Barcelona yesterday because it has not fully recovered from his injury. But the Spanish rider was still experiencing pain in his shoulder from the incident at Le Mans.
Speculation is growing that Honda will replace Pedrosa with Hiroshi Aoyama at Silverstone. While at Gresini Honda's Aoyama position will be filled Kosuke Akiyoshi.
However, as reported by Auto Sport, the Honda team has decided that only Casey Stoner and Andrea Dovizioso who will strengthen his team in the UK later on without a replacement rider.
"It's very disappointing there is no longer Dani this weekend. But this is a decision and I only wish all the best for her at this difficult moment, "Stoner said.
