Tips on how to replace a car radiator water

Water radiator (water cooling system) car needs to be replaced periodically. The goal, besides keeping the corrosion, the ability to bind to the hot coolant will decrease within a certain timeframe.
Generally, replacement of water in the radiator after the car taking every 40,000 km. Draining can be done alone. However, for new cars, the process is not as easy as production vehicles of the 1990s. The difficulty is because the sinkhole is hidden and must use a screwdriver plus.

Here are the steps to drain water to the radiator:
     
1. When the engine is cold, heat about 3-5 minutes for the cooling system rotates. Thus, the dirt does not settle to the bottom.
    
2. After that, open the radiator cap slowly. Then, continue with the open pit on the radiator.  



3. If you want to replace with another brand, close the drain and fill the radiator with water clear as pure water.   


4. Turn the engine until the thermostat opens. Characteristics, can be seen in the water circulating in the radiator cap hole.      

5. Turn off the engine and let stand about 15 menut. Then, go back to the sinkhole on the radiator. Do it repeatedly until the water draining step looks clear.
    
6. Then, fill the radiator with new coolant water.
    
7. Restart the engine while the gas pedal a bit to play up to 2,000 rpm. The goal, to minimize the gap of air trapped in the system.
    
8. If water is reduced, add coolant to the radiator until full and then close.
    
9. If the car has been fitted with bolts bleeding, you need only open 1 / 4 rounds and let the machine work.
   
10. If air bubbles come out have been replaced with a spray of water, immediately cover and turn off the engine. Means, the replacement process has been completed.
